I am a founder and executive officer for MIT Design Week (MDW), a multi-day initiative highlighting art, technology, and creation in the MIT undergraduate community. My role extends into all aspects of the initiative: outreach, event planning, design, grant writing, marketing, team building, …. From a half-idea for an event, to a full-scale endeavor incorporating a live art performance, creative career panel, student design showcase, and culminating runway show, my experience with MDW has been a crash-course in all things managerial.
